Our Mission

Join Saights as a Software Engineer and help shape the backbone of our AI-driven platform. You’ll architect, build, and refine web applications from end to end, collaborating with AI engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver smooth, intuitive experiences for our users. Your technical skills and creative thinking will influence both our product and our engineering culture as we grow.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications—both frontend and backend
Architect and develop APIs and data pipelines for real-time, AI-powered features
Work closely with AI, product, and design teams to create innovative solutions and integrations
Lead code reviews, uphold high standards for code quality, and mentor junior developers
Take full ownership of the features you work on
Ensure top-notch security, performance, and maintainability throughout the application lifecycle
Stay current with new technologies, frameworks, and best practices

Your profile

What You Bring

2–3+ years’ hands-on experience as a Full Stack or backend-focused Software Engineer, ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment
Strong skills in Node.js, API design, and system architecture
Solid experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL), including data modeling and query optimization
Experience integrating REST APIs and using modern patterns
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js for full-stack development
Experience working with Language Models and AI/ML integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic)
Practical experience with vector databases and semantic search

Bonus points for:

Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Ihre Aufgaben

Als Software Engineer bei Saights entwickelst und optimierst du ganzheitliche Webanwendungen, die unsere AI-getriebene Plattform antreiben. Du arbeitest eng mit AI Engineers, Product und Design zusammen und trägst dazu bei, nahtlose und durchdachte Nutzererlebnisse zu schaffen. Deine technische Stärke und dein strukturiertes Denken prägen sowohl unsere Architektur als auch unsere Engineering-Kultur während wir weiter skalieren.

Key Responsibilities

• Entwicklung und Pflege skalierbarer, produktionsreifer Webanwendungen über den gesamten Stack hinweg (Frontend und Backend)

• Konzeption und Implementierung von APIs und Datenpipelines zur Unterstützung unserer Echtzeit- und AI-Features

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit AI, Product und Design bei der Umsetzung innovativer Lösungen und Integrationen

• Durchführung von Code Reviews, Sicherstellung hoher Codequalität und Unterstützung weniger erfahrener Entwickler

• Vollständige Verantwortung für die Features, an denen du arbeitest

• Gewährleistung von Sicherheit, Performance und Wartbarkeit auf Enterprise-Niveau über den gesamten Lebenszyklus der Anwendung

• Aktive Weiterbildung und Beobachtung neuer Technologien, Frameworks und Best Practices

Ihr Profil

2–3 Jahre praktische Erfahrung als Full Stack oder backend-orientierte Software Engineer in produktiven Umgebungen, idealerweise in einem Startup oder schnell wachsenden Umfeld

Fundierte Kenntnisse in Node.js, API-Design und Systemarchitektur
Sichere Erfahrung mit relationalen Datenbanken, bevorzugt PostgreSQL, inklusive Datenmodellierung und Query-Optimierung
Erfahrung in der Integration von REST-APIs und modernen Architekturmustern
Gute Kenntnisse in JavaScript/TypeScript und React/Next.js für Full-Stack-Features
Erfahrung im Arbeiten mit Language Models und AI/ML-Integrationen (OpenAI, Anthropic)
Praxis im Einsatz von Vektordatenbanken und semantischer Suche
Leidenschaft für den Aufbau innovativer, nutzerzentrierter Produkte
